Warm Season Grasses

The Lawn Specialist Program consists of seven applications per year for Bermuda and Zoysia. Our warm season applications are timed perfectly to prevent weed infestations, and maximize the aesthetic appeal of your lawn.

Warm season turf program breakdown

Round 1: (late Feb to March) Pre-emergent for crab grass and broadleaf weed control

Round 2: (April to early May) 2nd pre-emergent application for crab grass, Liquid high nitrogen fertilizer-slow release, and broadleaf weed control

Round 3: (Late May to early July) Liquid high nitrogen fertilizer- slow release, broad leaf weed control, post emergent sedge control

Round 4: (July to mid August) Liquid high nitrogen fertilizer-slow release, Late summer weeds post emergent, post emergent sedge control

Round 5: (late August to early October) Liquid fertilizer, winter weeds pre-emergent, Late summer weeds post emergent, post emergent sedge control

Round 6: (mid October to November) Root stimulating winterizing fertilizer, winter weeds pre-emergent, broad leaf weed control

Round 7: (late November to January) pre-emergent for winter weeds, and broad leaf weed control

Spring Aeration

Revitalize your lawn this spring or summer with an Aeration from Lawn Specialist. We use a Kubota B2400 tractor to drive 3-4 inch holes that will loosen hard compacted soil and allow root development. Our tractor will leave no "plugs" and will break up even the toughest soil. We also apply soil amendments such as lime, milorganite, and phosphate fertilizer with our aeration service.
